Today, I have changed my mind!
It was a big day today! The flooring is done and the counter-tops got put in! It looks SO GOOD! I'm especially in love with the counter tops! It's pretty much impossible to show how beautiful and detailed they are through pictures, but I'll try!
However, even with all these BIG things happening in the kitchen/bar/laundry area there are still MANY other things that are difficult and frustrating and hard! Add cold yucky weather, everything is a soggy mess, no place to put animals, the last POD getting picked up with still no finished floors or rooms to put stuff in, everything cost a million times more than you hoped, five cranky and tired people living in a disaster area with no appliances.....
this is NOT EASY!!
So, I thought it necessary for my mental health to go back and see where we started!!!
Keep in mind there is still Plenty to do- furniture, finish painting, window treatments, light fixtures, back splash, APPLIANCES, faucet.... and that is just talking about this section of the house! :/

(I took these in the middle of the night.... the lighting is horrible! The tile floor is gray, not brown, and the cabinets are off white, not pink, but you get the general idea!)

(We knocked out the counters that cut across the room and took out the wall behind them. The powder bath got turned the opposite direction, a wall got put up to divide the bar and laundry room; and we completely opened the wall between this area of the house and the main living room!)
