Easter 2015

I started to make a FB Album, but it takes so long to get all the pitures you want in the right order and lable them, that I figured a blog post is faster!

Memaw is missing us, and we are missing her too, so I am obligated to get these pictures out quickly or I'll be in big trouble!  Here ya go, Mom!  Enjoy!!

Egg Dyeing!- How do you pick which kit to buy??

How do you pick just one egg dyeing kit?  I couldn't.   So we got all of them!   That's why they make them two dollars, right?!!
We definitely had the most unique group of Easter eggs EVER! ;)

Here are just a few of them!
Yes.  Those are eggs with puff paint, stickers, and shark teeth on them!!  I don't know?!  Some were dipped in dye, some were rolled in it, some had glitter, others had foil, there were magic crayons, and lots of stickers... the options were endless!  The best discovery was that duck eggs make Great Easter eggs!

The Easter Bunny really enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberry carrots we left for him!  (Shhhh- Peter (the pig), and Polar and Panda (the baby goats!) enjoyed the real carrots!!)

The Easter Bunny hid our real eggs all over the construction zone, in the main house! We are hoping all of them have been found!  It was really really late when the Easter Bunny counted how many eggs there were total!!!

David had fun with the new "hard to find" plastic eggs!  They have suction cups, string, and sticky pads on them!  He hid them all over the guest house and outside!

The Easter Bunny was smart and left baskets in the nice new clean guest house!!  He delivered a BB gun, barbies, and a sketch station.... along with a few other little things!

Jovie seeing the baskets for the first time! ;)

After checking out all the new stuff, it was time for some hiking!  A CRAZY amount of hiking for a rainy early morning!!   We came up with the fun idea to leave a trail of Easter eggs going all the way up to the top of our "mountain"!!  (David was hiking up the mountain at 2am with the dogs to leave the trail of eggs!  I was at the house praying he brought enough dogs with him to keep the coyotes away and that at least some of the eggs would still be there in the morning!)

There was a fun surprise waiting at the top!!

A basket full of confetti eggs and silly string!!

That is when the fun REALLY began!
(Note- we will have the most colorful bird and squirrel nests around!)

 So. Much. Fun!!

There were even eggs down in our "Grand Canyon"!!   (These guys had to work for their eggs this year!!)

On our way back down to the house, we found eggs in the chicken coop!  You know, eggs that weren't SUPPOSE to be in the chicken coop!! ;)   (Little Nugget wasn't sure what that crazy orange thing was!   We were surprised Snow White didn't scoop it under her to try to hatch it too!!)

We also stopped by the garden and found out that the jellybeans they planted last night grew into all kinds of yummy stuff!

And the last of our Egg events was playing with the Dino Eggs we made the night before!
We was super excited to make them because we knew Jackson was going to flip.  However, let's just say.... they didn't exactly turn out Pinterest worthy! :/  They kind of crumbled and never left the pan, but the kids had fun anyway!  It's just baking soda and water; and then you pour vinegar on them to "hatch" the egg!  Our eggs had army men, dinosaurs, and hair barrettes in them!

After all of that excitement, I slept for most of the day because I am fighting a horrible sinus infection, but we ended our weekend with a trip to the movies to see "Home"!!  Overall, it was a great way to spend our first Easter at our new ranch!

Hope everyone had an awesome day!  Nighty night!! <3

(Just a few of us)!
