The LOVE of Strangers!!

      I have never met Rachel, but I got a message from her this morning that made me feel like I've known her all my life.  It's the place in our hearts that only Moms know about and only Moms can understand.   But, Rachel has taken that to an entirely different level.  She said she felt a "tug" at her heart to help Jackson get his Angel.  As a result my heart is bursting with gratitude.

I just wanted share with everybody the generosity and beautiful heart of a stranger named Rachel! <3

I saw your post on Momastary. It is so strange -- I follow that blog all the time, but I never read what others write on it. For some reason, I was compelled to read your post. One thing lead to another and I just had this tug in my heart that I had to help!
I sent the following email to my friends and family. I hope they step up to the challenge of bringing Angel home.

Hi Friends and Family,
I am not usually one to ask for donations, but I am hoping you can help with a great cause!
Jackson is a little boy with Asperger Syndrome. He has trouble navigating social situations and is fearful of being alone. All he wants is a friend and companion.
Angel is a trained Great Pyrenees who is waiting for a child to protect and love. He can recognize and calm concerns of children with Asperger Syndrome, specifically the type Jackson has.
I have been conversing with Jackson's mom, and the need for Angel in her home is great. Please think about helping in any way you can -- either monetarily or by spreading the word. Every little bit helps!

"We have our first taker!! Unfortunately, it is my dad and he isn't very good with computers. He would like to send a check. Is that possible?"

Wow!!  Just Wow!  At some point in my life I WILL hug this woman!  And so will Jackson and Angel!! <3
